T-6 Days.....

less than a week til the boards
a big 2 day test
time to prioritize topics (cleaning's not one
and this apartment's a mess)

there are piles of papers
and notecards and books
my highlighters are drying up
studying's not as easy as it looks!

the practice tests are finished
my scores all over the place
I make plenty of mental notes
and then against time I race

there's OMT, neuro, pulmonology,
cardio, anatomy, physio and bugs,
don't forget biochem and pathology,
histo and repro and life-saving drugs.

food? frozen dinners and chocolate
with cups and cups of strong tea
I buzz through the nights,
only stopping to pee.

my biggest test worry?
my own greatest fear?
that the knowledge I've got
will fall out my ears.

Things here are busy, and knitting/spinning (or knins and spits as I've called it several times) are taking a backseat for another few days. I'm not sure you all want to hear about studying for boards, so I think it's going to be quiet here, at least through the weekend.

Dear Kristen,

Received my package today! How lovely - the colours are fantastic. You have spoilt me. I shall enjoy making myself a scarf with it.

Your poem is great - good luck!

Jess

Kristen,

Good luck on the boards. I did take two bar exams so I so I understand the cramming, the trials and the fear it will all evaporate as soon as you sit down to the test. The most important advice I can give is to study to your best ability and then RELAX.

I'll be thinking about you on the big day!

We're behind you! REmember: it's like knitting--one answer at a time does the trick.

Excellent verse. Especially given some of the difficulty of the rhymes.

Hang in there, you will do just fine! Thanks for offering the power point, but I think if I get any more resources, I'll cry! :o) Soon, soon it will be over....

Best of luck, and thanks for the compliments on my clearly not so professional medical explanations ;-) Very sorry to hear about this horrible "accident" crapola. Mean people suck, and insurance companies suck worse.

Hang in there! :-)
